"Crom. I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it...and I am a believer in another god. But this week, Crom, two mortals passed on who each in their own way honored you. One painted glorious images of your greatest child. The Cimmerian who conquered the jeweled kingdom of Aquilonia. Paintings which graced collections of that warrior's tales and inspired others to paint as he did. The other sang of glory in battle and the joy of life. Though he was small of stature, his spirit was large as a dragon and his voice like that beast's great roar. His songs, nay his life influenced so many bards to sing of battle which pleases you Crom.
Now they have passed on to the land of the dead. So tonight, Crom, I beg you...grant them peace, grant them glory in your realm...grant them solace.
....And if you will not listen...THEN TO HELL WITH YOU!!!"
