Kimota!

So i went down to my local Newbury Comics (Burlington) to pick up a comic series I will definitely be reading and collecting.  In a move up there with Hell freezing over, four years ago  Marvel Comics bought the rights to one of the long lost classics of the 1980's, Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman's pre-Watchman and Sandman deconstruction of superheroes, Miracleman!  And in addition to reprinting the original, Neil Gaiman announced he will be completing his storyline for the title!

Don't go in expecting the kind of complexity you've come to expect from Moore.  This was his first time playing with applying adult themes to supers.  Think of this as being able to hear recordings of the Beatles during their Hamburg/Cavern Club days.  Sure, it's gonna be raw and unpolished and it's essentially a cover (Of a British superhero that was a subtle rip-off of Captain Marvel, Marvelman), but you can see the seeds of genius.....PICK IT UP!

In addition, on a whim, I decided to pick up one of Funko's new MLP Mystery Minis.  SUPRISE!!!  I get the rare glow in the dark Vinyl Scratch!!!
